Networking access

  • Internet access

all equipment (laptop, pc, tables, mobile phones) connected to ours wired and wireless networking has full internet access

  • Wireless connection

  • University wireless network associate with Global Eduroam

    • New Students MUST need their Student ID/Account to get access, which will provided after finish yours registration duties .

      • General helping to connect

    • Visiting researchers or postdoctors that come from other institutions associate with Eduroam will auto connect, and don't need do anything.

  • Local wireless network provide by some labs (need to ask people in labs to give you the password)

  • We provide a local network access that covers to all buildings and rooms where are research lab's associate with PEA/NUPELIA.
    When connected to our local area network has access to any local shared hardware (Printer, Scanner, NAS, PCs)

Print,Scan and copy services

  • We provide a printing, scan and copy services center at building H90, you need to go there with your PEN drive, with the document(s) in PDF format that you want to print.

  • There's also several printers and multi-function (scan,print,copy) equipment's in some lab's rooms. The access to these resources are controlled by lab's coordinator.

Data crushing

If your need to perform some analysis that takes long time or need big memory we can help you.

  • You can ask the IT admin telling about what you need to solve and about of your data.

  • Some labs has some advanced Workstations which can share access with you. You need to ask Lab's coordinator, when approved will ask to IT admin to give you an account and instructions.

Data storage

  • A good data storage plan are essential to any scientific research.

  • All students and researchers need to guarantee that data that will collect and use to theirs researches are storage with easy access and safe.

We provide two way to store yours data.

    1. Google Drive - General use

    2. NAS Network Attached Store - For users with needs Large data volume (e.g. Maps) that need to be processed locally.
